Every beat you publish through ScheduleBeats automatically appears on Beats Explorer—a public, searchable catalog of type beats. Artists can filter by genre (Trap, Hip Hop, Drill, R&B), BPM ranges, sort by newest or most active producers, and discover beats beyond the algorithm.

How Your Beats Appear on Explorer
Automatic Inclusion
When you publish a beat through ScheduleBeats (to BeatStars, YouTube, or just stored in your library as published), it automatically appears on Beats Explorer.
You don't need to do anything extra. If you've published beats, they're already there.
What Information Shows
Each beat on Explorer displays:
- Title: Your beat's full title
- Producer name: Your producer name / brand
- Genre: The genre you tagged it with (Trap, Hip Hop, Drill, R&B, etc.)
- BPM: Visible for filtering
- Cover art: Your beat's thumbnail
- Playback: Artists can play beats directly on Explorer
Artists click through to your producer page to see all your beats, and from there they can link to your BeatStars store, YouTube channel, or contact you directly (if you've added those links in your ScheduleBeats profile).

Genre Browsing
Artists can browse by genre tags:
- Trap: The most popular—hundreds of beats
- Hip Hop: Classic boom bap and modern hip hop
- Drill: UK Drill, NY Drill, Chicago Drill
- R&B: Smooth, melodic instrumentals
- Lo-Fi: Chill, laid-back beats
- Afrobeat: African-influenced rhythms
- And more: Pop, Rock, Electronic, Experimental
If you tag your beats accurately, they show up in the right genre filters.
BPM Filtering
Artists can filter beats by BPM ranges:
- 60-80 BPM: Slow, chill beats
- 80-100 BPM: Mid-tempo R&B and lo-fi
- 120-140 BPM: Standard trap and hip hop
- 140-160 BPM: Uptempo trap and drill
- 160+ BPM: Fast drill, footwork, and experimental
This is huge for artists who need beats at specific tempos. On BeatStars or YouTube, they have to manually check each beat's BPM. On Explorer, they filter once and browse only what fits.

Optimizing Your Beats for Explorer
Tag Your Beats Accurately
Genre tags matter. If you tag a Drill beat as "Trap," it won't show up when artists filter for Drill. Be specific:
- Use the most accurate genre (not just "Hip Hop" for everything)
- If your beat crosses genres, pick the primary one
- Check what genre other similar beats use
Fill Out Your BPM and Key
Artists filter by BPM. If your beat is missing BPM data, it won't appear in BPM-filtered searches.

Explorer is visual. Thumbnails with clear text, high contrast, and professional design get more clicks.
Build a Deep Catalog
Explorer rewards active producers. Upload consistently so your producer page has 50, 100, 200+ beats. Artists trust producers with large catalogs more than one-offs.

In ScheduleBeats Studio → Settings → Profile, add:

- YouTube channel: For more exposure

Some producers curate YouTube playlists of type beats. That works, but:
- Playlists are manual: You have to add beats yourself
- No filtering: Artists can't filter by BPM or genre
- Not discoverable: Playlists don't rank in search

Controlling Your Explorer Presence
Hiding Beats from Explorer
If you don't want a beat to appear on Explorer:
- Go to ScheduleBeats Studio → Settings → Explorer
- Toggle "Show my beats on Beats Explorer" off
This hides all your beats from the public catalog. Use this if you only want to publish to BeatStars/YouTube privately.
Showing Only Specific Beats
Currently, it's all-or-nothing (all beats shown or none). Granular per-beat control may come in future updates.
Customizing Your Producer Slug
By default, your producer page URL is schedulebeats.com/beats-explorer/producer/YOUR_USER_ID.
You can set a custom slug in Settings → Profile → Producer Slug:
