# ScheduleBeats

> ScheduleBeats (schedulebeats.com) schedules beat uploads to BeatStars and YouTube for music producers. It also offers a VST3 plugin for FL Studio that schedules a beat straight from an FL Studio export.

## ScheduleBeats for FL Studio (VST3 plugin, v0.6.1)

- What it is: a VST3 plugin for FL Studio, for macOS and Windows (v0.6.1).
- How it works: load it in the last slot of the FL Studio Master mixer track, link your ScheduleBeats account with a code at schedulebeats.com/link, then export as usual (File > Export, WAV or MP3 or both). The plugin captures the render.
- Recap screen: the title and BPM are read from the FL Studio project name (recommended format: "Drake x Future - Chemistry 145"); collaborators written as @handles are filled in when they match collaborators saved in the account, and new collaborators can be added from the plugin (saved to the ScheduleBeats account). The "type beat" artists are never pre-filled: the producer enters them (required). There is no automatic cover: the producer chooses one ("Choose a cover") from Google Images, their own JPG/PNG or AI generation, then one of 5 filters (Original, B&W, Noir, Radiant, Sunset); a cover is required to publish. The next free slot of the ScheduleBeats calendar is selected (‹ › picks another); the account's templates are used.
- Publish: the beat is scheduled on BeatStars and YouTube for the slot date, and a YouTube Short follows. The final screen shows the cover and the BeatStars, YouTube and YouTube Short links, each with Copy / Open, plus "Copy both links" for BeatStars + YouTube (the Short link appears a few minutes later, once rendered).
- Updates: one click inside FL Studio (v0.6.1+). When a new version is out, the plugin shows "Update to vX"; clicking it downloads and installs the update (macOS may ask for the password, Windows for permission, if the VST3 folder is protected), then restart FL Studio. The account stays linked. On v0.6.0 or older the button opens the download page: replace ScheduleBeats.vst3 with the new one once. Versions that are too old can no longer publish.
- Publish is blocked if neither BeatStars nor YouTube is connected to the account.
- Requirements: a ScheduleBeats account. macOS 10.15 or later (universal: Apple Silicon + Intel) or Windows. Built for FL Studio (tested in FL Studio 20 on Mac; the Windows build is installed and running on Windows 11 with FL Studio 2026). Other DAWs are not supported.
- Limits: no length limit in the plugin; uploads are limited to 300 MB per beat (about 19 minutes of 24-bit / 44.1 kHz stereo WAV). Mixes over 0 dBFS are delivered at -0.3 dBFS instead of clipping.
- Install paths: macOS /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ (the Mac build is not notarized: run `sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ScheduleBeats.vst3`); Windows C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\. Then in FL Studio: Options > Manage plugins > Find more plugins.
